Our love story

Yeiwon and Danny first met in the Fall of 2011 on the 4th floor of Clemens Library at the University of Virginia. One day, Danny was at the library and ran into a friend from high school (Alice Hong, the Matron of Honor). Danny went to go say “Hi” and was introduced to Yeiwon for the first time. Immediately, he thought, “Wow, she’s really pretty!”, but as his closest friends and families know, Danny was a skinny, nerd who had no chance at the time. Fast forward 5 years, Yeiwon just finished her first year in VCU Pharmacy School, and through her classmate and Danny’s closest friend (David Lee, the Best Man), Danny was finally able to hang out with Yeiwon for the first time. After a month of playing hard to get, they both confessed their feelings for each other and the rest is history! Over 2 years’ worth of memories together, they’ve traveled to LA and Orlando, attended multiple weddings as couples, watched several musicals, drank countless bobas, and most importantly they were there for each other at all times. On 8/11/2018, Danny finally gained the courage to ask his best friend, Yeiwon, to marry him and she said, “YES!”. They can’t wait to celebrate the beginning of their next chapter in life with their friends and familes!
